Ultimate Standings: Fan Satisfaction Rankings

ESPN surveyed more than 80,000 fans in "SportsNation", and to tell them what they want from their favorite team. Also,how well their favorite franchise repays them for all the love and money they devote to it.

The results? The Buffalo Sabres NHL Hockey Club rank No. 1 among 122 pro sports teams based on what they give back to fans who invest their time and money in the organization. Coming in at No. 122, dead last, the Detroit Lions.

These rankings are based on and coordinate with on field success, overall fan $value, fan relations, affordability, stadium comfort and amenities,and historical success

100. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (Last Year: 81)
The NFL's second-highest parking ($25) fuels the eighth-highest average season ticket costs ($890.33), all for the pleasure of frequenting the oldest unrenovated stadium in the league to watch a team that's averaged five wins a year since 2003. Even when owner John York delivers good news, like this winter's $40 million in guaranteed free agent contracts, it comes replete with irony. While the notoriously spendthrift York has perhaps seen the light and will spend to rebuild the Niners dynasty, San Franciscans will have to trek to his proposed new stadium 44 miles south in Santa Clara to see it.
