According to Matt Loede of 49ers Gab.com, the Niners inked another draft pick Wednesday by signing 6th round selection, Kansas St. running back Thomas Clayton. Terms of the deal have not been announced but it is a four year contract for the potential back-up for incumbent Frank Gore. The troubled Clayton, who has a ton of talent, saw his draft stock fall due to off-field issues which he hopes to leave behind him. With any luck, Clayton could be a solid special teamer, or at best, the thunder to Frank Gore's lightning, ala Reggie Bush and LenDale White of USC.
